What Rover Around stores

Email, optional phone, broad operating area, 18+ confirmation, self-reported license and insurance status, vehicle type and broad year range, availability, generic category interests, optional communication consent, policy versions, timestamps, and an optional campaign code.

Documents and screening

Rover Around does not currently collect operational documents or background-check authorization. If a future, separately disclosed opportunity requires document review, Rover Around may hold qualification evidence in a restricted vault. Sensitive consumer-report intake, such as Social Security number or full date of birth, is intended for an authorized screening provider's hosted workflow, not this profile.

Who receives it

Rover Around holds the interest profile. No participating organization receives it automatically. Before any specific opportunity can proceed, we identify the offering organization and show its requirements, compensation or fees, data-sharing scope, privacy notice, and terms. You then make a separate choice.

Readiness and retention

Readiness information is self-reported and not verification. An interest profile is deleted after 180 days without activity. Cleanup runs through daily scheduled maintenance and during site activity, while expired profiles are denied access immediately.

Your controls

Use My profile to change interests, update communication choices, unsubscribe, or request deletion. You may also email privacy@roveraround.com. Do not email sensitive documents.

Abuse prevention

We use a keyed, non-reversible network fingerprint to enforce an hourly request limit. The fingerprint is not used for advertising and expired rate-limit windows are removed after one hour.

Analytics

We store daily aggregate funnel counters for up to 180 days. We do not store event-level analytics records, contact details, exact area or readiness answers, vehicle details, organization identifiers, pseudonymous profile identifiers, or free text.
